Sakurai Sho / Matsumoto Jun
Jun confessed just minutes after a concert when his body was too high with adrenaline and his emotions were too overwhelming to bear. Fortunately, Sho fell a bit behind with some of the choreography so he had to stay behind while he was discussing some of the concert details with the staff for tomorrow's show.
The older man was watching their rehearsal videos when Jun plopped himself beside him on the couch. Jun told it as it is, no pretensions, no expectations.
"I love you" He heard those words roll out of his tongue, his eyes careful to not focus on anything else other than the TV screen. Jun felt his heart on his throat and the awkward silence eating him alive when he felt a warm hand envelope his own and squeezed it a bit.
Jun was not sure if it was a sign of acceptance, or reciprocation, or just acknowledgment, but he breathed a sigh of relief anyway, at least Sho didn't respond negatively. But he was in for a surprise when Sho pulled his hand and he turned to face him in response. The older man closed their distance and kisses him softly.
Jun realized later that Sho's mouth was infinitely better in doing other things than talking.
